MAR (b. 1974, California) Untitled Gray – An acrylic painting with collage and spray paint on Blick canvas panel by the street artist MAR. Featured on the deep gray background is a stencil of a well-known street art symbol: the rat, (often portrayed by Banksy and Blek Le Rat) as well as a portrait drawing of a man (is that Bob Marley? James Franco? or ?) added to the canvas collage-style, plus the signature of street artist MAR in deep red in the upper right. The 14 x 18-inch canvas has been mounted, matted, and placed in a black metal frame measuring 18.5 x 24.5 inches.
